Grocery King offers a powerful search feature to search for items to add to your shopping list. Search will provide immediate results as you start typing your search keyword. The keyword could be an item name, an item category or an item sub category name. For example if you type "Vegetables", the search drop down will show all the items grouped under vegetables category. Another example is if you start typing a sub category name like "Herbs", the search will immediately show search results that include all items under the Herbs sub category. You could always search directly for an item name if that is what you desire.
You can quickly add items from your search results to your shopping list. Here are some tips :
1. When you tap on the + button on the left side of search result item row, the item will get added to the list but the search bar will remain open so that you can start typing a new item to search for. This is useful if you want to search for multiple items to add the shopping list.
2. When you tap on the right side of the search result item row, the item will get added to the shopping list and the search bar gets hidden. This is useful in cases where you basically want to search for 1 item and end your search.
3. You can directly access all your favorited items directly from the search screen. Just tap on the "Favs" tab under the search bar.
4. You could also directly access your frequently shopped items directly from the search screen. Just tap on the "Popular" tab under the search bar and Grocery King will intelligently scan your shopping history to show you all your frequently shopped items sorted by popularity with the most popular items being on the top.
