How do I change the e-mail address on my account?

Open Account Settings. 

Enter your new e-mail id under "Primary E-Mail". 

Tap "Save"

Note: Make sure you logout and re-sign-in into your other devices with the new e-mail id otherwise syncing and backup will not function.
